Understanding the Function of the Air-End in a Compressor

The air-end of the compressor have two key components working together. Thus it is called the rotor, as well. It is a movable part that rotates and has the function to bring air along with it for the compressor. To breaking direction of airflow, it has an important task to play. The stationary part is the stator. Shaped in a circle, it is set around the rotor. The stator has specific shapes and openings that help the air pressurize less sloppily out of the compressor. These parts together help the compressor to do its job properly.
